Esther KAUFMAN

KAUFMAN, Esther (nee Gruber). On Wednesday, May 22, 2002. in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Kaufman. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Max and the late Nettye Gruber and the late Lilian Gruber. Predeceased by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law David and Ethel Kaufman, Rose and Ben Dankner, Max Kaufman, Mendel Kaufman, Letta and Abe Levine, Sadie and Jack Zadnoff, Dora and Frank Mendelsohn, Rae and Ben Beutel. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great grand nieces, and great grand nephews. The family would like to thank caregivers Irene and Freda as well as the staff of Chateau Westmount for their devoted care. Graveside service took place at the Shaare Tefilah Congregation Cemetery, LaJeunesse Street on Friday May 24 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Na'Amat Montreal 484-0252.
