Anita MILLER Obituary
On Friday, May 4, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Emil. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Eric and Rena Miller, and Robert Miller. Cherished grandma of Jason, and Adam. Predeceased by her dear siblings. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the I.C.U. at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W., on Sunday, May 6 at 2:00 pm. Burial at the Memorial Park Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private. Donations in Anita's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec. (514) 871-1551. She was respected and loved by all those she dealt with at Miller Paint Company from 1961 to 2008.

Anita was my grandfather's sister, and I was excited to hear she was alive and well as early as February of this year. We were going to plan a visit to meet her (which I believe would have been my first time ever to do so) this summer. I am very sorry to hear of her passing and regret that I did not schedule that visit much sooner.

It was sad to hear of Anita's passing. She was my father's youngest sister, and the last surviving member of that generation of the Michaels family.
I had a chance to speak with her at length at the end of February, after not having been in touch for many years. I had hoped to be able to visit with her this summer, and I'm very sad to realize that now I won't have the opportunity.
Anita was a wonderful person and a cherished family member.
