On Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Beloved wife of Mark for forty-six years. Devoted mother of Steven, Michael, David and fiancée Nikole. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Charles and Sue Silver, and sister-in-law of Elyse Weinberg. Aunt of Norman Marks. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, May 11 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva at her residence, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Donations in Marianne's memory may be made to the Cancer Research charity of your choice.

Dear Mark & Family,
I'm so very sorry to have heard the news about your loss. I'm still out of town & I just found out. Marianne was a very special lady & will be missed by all. Remember guys, I know, always focus on those "Great Memories", they WILL REMAIN WITH YOU FOREVER!

My heart and prayers go out to my entire family and all of my auntie Marianne's freinds. May this difficult time be shadowed by the beautiful memories of the loving and compassionate person that was truly Marianne. My auntie loved me so much and I loved her very much too. I will never forget how she took care of "little Normie" and all the love she bestowed upon me. I love you Auntie Marianne and Uncle Mark, and Stevie, Michael and David! I know my Auntie Elyse is also saying prayers for her brother Mark and his family. Stay strong and may the healing be swift for us all. RIP my dear Auntie and please give my love to my mom, grandparents and all other loved ones up there wathcing over us all. Love forever.... Norm

Marianne, my friend, my confidante, the sister I never had, there are no words to describe how much I miss you.You had such an intoxicating zest for life and embraced each and everyone you met with your loving friendship. You loved your friends and more than that you loved their children and grandchildren as if they were your own.You showered them with love and generosity and tonight Halle remembered your trips to the Toy store with her. Mark, Steven, Michael and David she loved you so passionately and you all in return loved and adored her. She was a blessing to have had as a wife, mother, sister and friend. Marsie , your giving nature and connection to people was a gift to know. You shared so much with me these last 32 years. I've become a better person having you in my life.
