Jankiel GRZEDA Obituary
Peacefully, on Sunday, July 1, 2012, in his ninety-ninth year. Beloved husband of the late Miriam Maslanka. Loving father of Faigy Grzeda (Tom Schwalb), and Dr. Maurice Grzeda (Cheryl). Cherished Zaidie of Danny Rosenbloom (Robyn), and Alisa Rosenbloom, Cantor Ari Isenberg-Grzeda and Dr. Elie Isenberg-Grzeda. Dear Uncle of Roger Kenig of Lille, France, Moshe Zahavi, Tola Benshabat, Esther Rosenstein, Miriam Oppenstein and Rivkah Landsman of Israel. Predeceased by his parents and siblings who died in the Holocaust. Jankiel will be sadly missed by Martin Rosenbloom, Dr. Connie Isenberg, his family and all of those whose lives he touched. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Maimonides. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 4855 Pierre Lauzon, Pierrefonds, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
