My dearest Laura, George, Debbie and Michel;

Many people pass through our lives, some we forget and some we remember with love and smiles. Mira was the latter, as was your entire family. From the Duplex on 100th Ave., to sitting in George's car and listening to music (with Laura's permission I might add) while George cursed us for running down the battery, ironing curly and frizzy hair with a real iron on the counter in the kitchen to the country house on Trout Lake and scaring each other silly. Laughter was abound whenever Mira was there. A true friend, sister and daughter. I never knew Mira as a true adult, mother or wife but I am certain that she was awesome at both and made you all very proud. May your family find the strength to get you over this sad time. Debbie, I don't know that anyone can say anything to make you smile as I am sure that your tears cannot stop right now but knowing that the pain for Mira is over and that she is now free must give you some relief. From what I have found out since last night about the care and love you gave to your sister and her family over the past two years, may you be blessed with inner peace and the strength to keep on going. I wish I could be there to hug you, Laura from what I remember, you gave great hugs.

I send you my heartfelt symphathies and all my love.

Today I lost a dear friend, but I do not cry or shed a tear rather I rejoice in the life of Mira. To never have known Mira would hve been a loss, to never have had Mira's friendship would make me cry, to never have had a special bond with Mira would bring tears to my eyes. I am one of the lucky ones.
