MERLING SHILLING, Rebecca. (nee Salpeter). On Wednesday, December 14, 2005. Wife of Rudolph Merling and the late Robert Shilling. Devoted mother of the late Maralyn Stern. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Peppy and the late Hymie Wasserman, the late Eva and the late Harry Liberman, the late Clara and the late Joe Silcoff, the late Sophie Burt. Predeceased by her husband's siblings and their spouses. Cherished and beloved aunt of Norma Wasserman and Martin Levine, Miriam and Marty Friedman. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Special thanks to her devoted caregiver Daniella. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday, December 16 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva to be announced.
