STORFER, Carl. On Monday, January 2, 2006. Beloved husband of Mary Bruker. Loving father and father-in-law of Thelma Schlar (Michael), Lola Levett (the late Joe), Harriet Engel (the late Donald) and Phyllis Korne (Jack). Adored grandfather and great-grandfather. Brother of the late Esther Thau and the late Rose Storfer. Funeral service from Chesed Shel Emes, 935 Beaumont West on Wednesday, January 4 at 1 p.m. Burial at Kehal Yeshurun section, main gate, left on first road, de la Savane cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to The Mary and Carl Storfer Foundation c/o Jewish Eldercare Centre, (514) 738-4500, local 2125. Shiva private.

Although I have been away from the family for quite some time now, I do remember Uncle Carl as a lovely person with a marvelous sense of humor and I was so sorry to read of his passing. It's good to know however that he lived a long & fruitful life & I'm sure he'll be remembered by many people. My condolences to all the family.
