Abraham CLAMAN Obituary
It is with profound regret that we announce the passing of Abraham Moses Claman on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in Toronto, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Beloved husband of the late Mary, who passed away last May. Loving father and father-in-law of Brian and Caroline, Mark and Jewel, Catherine and Carlos. Cherished grandfather of Ciara, Danny; Kelly (Jonathan), Rebecca; Zachary, and Zoe. Dear brother and brother- in-law of Peter and Rene Claman of Halifax; and brother-in-law of Peter and the late Susan Reich. Uncle of Dayna, Sandra and Edwina. Abraham will be sadly missed by his loving family, and by his many friends. Special thanks to his caregivers Gerlie, K.C., and Lisa, who took care of him day and night during his last year, as well as to Thelma, and Joy, who took care of him in Montreal and loved him like he was their father. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 27, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of choice.
