ALTMAN, Sonny (Abraham). Peacefully, in his seventy-fourth year, on Friday, January 20th, 2006, after a long struggle with numerous illnesses. Devoted and cherished husband of Helen Klar. Loving father and father-in-law of Earl and Robin Altman, Cheryl Altman and Dave Houston. Adoring Zaidy to Stephanie, Alex and Matthew Altman, Kyra and Jayda Houston. Wonderful brother and brother-in-law of Bluma (Cookie) and Stanley Shoel, Saralea Altman, and brother-in-law of Ruthie and Morris Winer, and Gertie Wexelman. He will be sorely missed by his nieces, nephews, family and many wonderful friends. Heartfelt thanks to our special caregiver, Lillian Wiseman who helped us all through a very difficult time, and to Doctors Kader, Patineaude, and Carrier for their compassion. Funeral services from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W on Monday, Jan. 23rd at 1 p.m. Burial at De La Savane Cemetery. Shiva private. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
