Peacefully, in his ninety-first year, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 28, 2013. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen Zimmer for sixty-six years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Dale and Jeff Biteen, Sandra Greenfeld, Rhonda Greenfeld and Gerry Leclerc. Cherished grandfather of Julie Biteen and Eric Johnsen, Andrew Biteen; Jeremy Lyons; and Laura Leclerc. Proud great-grandfather of Kyle and Shane Johnsen. Dear brother and brother-in- law of Bernice and the late Morton Brownstein, Shirley and the late Leo Goldfarb, Roslyn and Harvey Wolfe, the late Hyman and the late Edna Greenfeld, the late Nathan Greenfeld; and brother-in-law of Shelly and Marion Zimmer. Lou will be sadly mourned and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, July 1 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane.
