Sylvia SCHMERER Obituary
On Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Max. Devoted mother and mother- in-law of Leana and Barry Coleman, Jerry and Linda Schmerer. Cherished grandmother of Joanna Coleman, Joshua Coleman; Jamie and April Schmerer, and Jordan Schmerer. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Fritzie and David Bilinski, Miliu and Herta Reich, as well as by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joseph and Fella Schmerer, Sophie and Louis Zoberman. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to her caregiver Valerie Williams for her care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean- Talon St. W., on Sunday, September 8 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her son's home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily, due to the advent of Yom Kippur Shiva ends on Thursday evening. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, (514) 255-5151.
