Abe SCHICKLER Obituary
On Friday, September 20, 2013. Beloved husband of Etta Reisler. Loving father of Ryna. Special uncle of David and Maria Katz, Sandra and the late Hy Katz. Predeceased by his dear siblings and their spouses Toby and Joe, Anna and Kurt, Sally, Jacob, and David; brother-in-law of Anne and the late Syd Reuben, and the late Barbara Reisler. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Special thanks to Norma, Ernesto, Shirley, Joanne, Chelo, Lillian, Jackie, Morris, Jeanette, and Dindo as well as all the caregivers staff and friends who were so exceptional. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, September 22 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Donations in Abe's memory may be made to the Donald Berman Maimonides Foundation, (514) 483-2121 ext. 2207.

Sincerest condolences to Ryna and her Mom. I have nothing but fond childhood memories of Mr. Schickler and his wonderful warm smile and endless patience, driving us to innumerable parties and events, his abiding love for his girls, and some memorable shopping excursions with Ryna and her Dad. Happy memories of his kind and gentle ways are with me forever.
