On Saturday, January 31, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Henriette (Yette) Bismuth. Adored father of Philippe, Marc, Benjamin, Alexandre and Sebastien, and father-in-law of Carina. Cherished 'Papi' of Scott, Dylan, Kimberly, Oliver, Emma, Lucie and Jedd. Brother of Alain, Chantal and the late Michel, and brother-in-law of Maude. A tragic loss for all his family, friends, colleagues, and all of those whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6791 ch. Louis-Pasteur, C.S.L., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

I worked with JP at Soquelec between 2002 and 2011 and enjoyed every moment working for him. My sympathies to Phillipe and his siblings and we will all miss this great gentleman.

Jean Pierre and I worked together at JEOL for many years. I will miss him and his cards marking each Jewish Holiday. Yette, he and I spent many Microscopy meetings together and I fondly remember those times. Adieu non ami.

What a sad day. I will always remember Jean-Pierre for his kindness and gentle manners. Even though I rarely saw him these last years, I will miss him terribly. My thoughts are with his family on this day.
