ROSEBERG, Mary (née Shugar)
Peacefully, in Toronto, on Friday, May 15, 2015. Born in Ste. Sophie, Quebec, on September 10, 1915. Beloved wife of the late Louis Roseberg for sixty-seven years. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in- law of Stan and Elizabeth Roseberg, Judy Roseberg and Reuven Gavaller, and Howard Roseberg. Beloved and cherished Bubbie of Leah, Rachael and Joshua. Loving grandmother of Simon and Lucinda. Loving and proud great-grandmother of Amelia and Eliza. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Ruth and the late Irving Schwartz, the late Sydney and the late Jean Shugar, Anita and the late Louis Shugar, the late Arthur and the late Elise Shugar, and sister-in-law of the late Anne and the late Samuel Doskie, the late Harry and the late Ann Roseberg, the late Fay and the late Harry Liberman, the late Jean and the late Saul Brasgold, the late Abe Roseberg, and the late Morton and the late Phyllis Roseberg. Mary will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and the many wonderful friends she made over the past fifteen years of her life in Toronto. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, May 19 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Kehal Yeshurin Section, de la Savane. Shiva in Montreal at Ruby Foo's Hotel, Tuesday until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m., continuing in Toronto, on Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 2 Neptune Dr. #704. Immediately after shiva concludes, family and friends will continue to gather to honour Mary's exceptional life until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, as well as on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Mary's apartment at 2 Neptune Dr. #704. Donations in honour of Mary's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

I was so sorry I wasn't able to attend Aunt Mary's funeral. She was such a lovely and warm lady. I remember visiting your house as a child and she always made time to talk to Judy and me and fill us up with cake. Wonderful memories. May you be spared further sorrow. Love Sandra
