Allan DESSER Obituary
Peacefully, on Friday, January 29, 2016, shortly after his 91st birthday. Beloved husband of Betty Reich Desser for 66 years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Rachelle and Ian Turner of Toronto, Deborah Desser of Coral Springs, Florida, Cynthia Desser and Gadi Padan. Adored Zadie of Michael Lifshitz, Audrey Moore and Okan Turkan; Callie Padan and Fady Rayes, Eric Padan, Emily Padan; Ryan Herchan. Proud great-grandfather of Harrison and Morgan Turkan, and Rafael Rayes. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Morris, Oscar and Molly, Max and Clara, Mark and Rose, Thelma Desser, Frances and Harry Brumer. Dear brother-in-law of Harry and Anne Reech. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of 6 North Jewish General Hospital who treated him like their own family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, January 31 at 3:15 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6950 Côte Saint-Luc Rd. Apt. 410, Sunday only. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, 514-340-8251.
