Leon HARARI Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father, Leon Harari – a remarkable man, on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, after a full and accomplished life, in his 104th year. He now joins his beloved wife and partner, Renée. Much loved and now sadly missed by his two sons and a daughter-in- law, Claude Harari of Toronto, Charles and Mary Harari of Montreal. Cherished grandfather of Stacey (Mike MacNeil), Emily (Stéphane Bousquet), Leona (Joseph Houx) and Paul (Lynn Waddell). He was also blessed with many great-grandchildren. All will remember "Nono" with great love and affection. Our family extends its gratitude and appreciation to Dad's dedicated doctors and caregivers; Michel, Mary, Joanna and Lisa, as well as to Phyllis and the doormen at Westmount Square for their caring service to "Mr. Leon" during the past many years. Special thanks to Nick and his wife Paula for their special friendship with Leon. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, February 18 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 29 rue Lesage, D.D.O., from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily (except Saturday) through Monday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leon's memory may be made to the charity of your choice
