Alice HODAN Obituary
Peacefully at home, on Thursday, March 10, 2016. Wife of the late Alexander Hodan. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Anna and Irwin Segal of Dallas, Susan and Danny Lavy. Cherished "Omi" of Aaron and Stephanie Segal, Debbie and Rob Williamson; Jonathan, Cody and Jaclyn Lavy. Proud great-grandmother of Noah, Abby and Jacob Segal; Hunter Williamson. Sister-in-law of the late Lily and the late Alex Teply. She will be sadly mourned by her family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rubin Becker for his care and devotion. Special thanks to Shirley, Linda, Jacinta (Minda) and Myrna. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean- Talon St. W. on Friday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home through Monday evening. Contributions in her memory may be made to the "Pink Lady Fund", c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, 514-340-8251.

Licka was a woman of intelligence, insight, dignity and a mischievous sense of humor. Visiting Licka always made my Montreal trips more memorable. She will be greatly missed.
