ABRAMS, Murray
Peacefully surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle, on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, just after his eighty-third birthday. Beloved father and father-in-law of Steven and Laurie, and Robert. Loving grandfather of Daniel, Eric, Justin, and Juliana. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Vivian and the late Arnold, David, and the late Manny and the late Babs. Dearest son of the late Peter and the late Annie. Cherished uncle of Lawrence, Mark and Michael, Jon, Karen and the late Judy. He will be lovingly remembered by his many good friends and family. Murray (Mosie) enjoyed life, whether it was playing golf, skiing, meeting the lunch bunch at the Y, travelling to Israel to volunteer or going to the jazz festival. He was an especially proud father and grandfather, hardly ever missing a game or piano recital. Many thanks to Carissa for her wonderful care and the doctors and nurses at the Jewish General and Mt Sinai Hospitals over the past year. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Friday, May 13 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at his son's home, from Sunday to Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
