Luba BERNARD Obituary
Peacefully, on Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Montreal. Predeceased by her beloved husband of forty-three years, Henri. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Fay and Abe Schwartz, and Ilana and Michael Haller. Cherished "G'ma" of Lisa and Steve Bloom, Julie and Dave Erdmann, Joshua Haller, Samara Haller and Chris O'Dell. Proud "G'G'ma" of Hayden and Jared Bloom. Predeceased by her sister and brother-in- law, Gisele and David Elnecave, and her brother, Leon and sister-in-law, Odette. She is survived by her youngest brother, Henry and her sister-in-law, Marta, both of Israel. Luba will be sadly missed by Shelley Haller, Veronica Papa, her nieces, nephews and all those who knew her. The family would like to thank her dedicated caregivers, Mary Glo, Eunice, Senait, and the wonderful, caring staff at Château Westmount. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Monday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter, Ilana Haller's house, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Donations in Luba's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

We are so sorry about the loss of the lovely Mrs. Bernard (as we called her!) We will all miss her sharp sense of humour, stylish clothes and beautiful face at dinners. We send all our love to Ilana, Mike, Samara, Chris, Josh, Veronica and the rest of the family. Marianne, Jodie and Marlow
