I would like to send my condolences to the family of the late Beatrice Simkover. I am going to miss her dearly as she was always calling me every weekend to see how I was.

Howard,
My thoughts are very much both with and of you and your family at this time. I have valued deeply our friendship over the past 28 years, and it is good to know that you are in Montreal to support your father and the rest of your family, and that Louise is there to support you. I feel you and I were both blessed by the fact that we have had not just good, but great mothers.
