Bertha SCHWARTZ Obituary
Holocaust survivor. On Thursday, February 9, 2017. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Ernest (Erno). Devoted mother and mother- in-law of Tommy and Betty (Liber). Adored Bubby of Josh, Elka and Ryan. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Elizabeth and Erno, Miklos and Lily; and brothers-in-law Andor, Joseph and Bela. Dear aunt of Kathy Hollinger, Alan Hollinger, Susan and David Biskin, Chaim and Zvi Schwartz. Special thanks to Dr. Dial, the ICU and emergency teams, staff at Maimonides and to her wonderful caregivers, Tundi, Fatima, Erzy and Adele. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, February 10 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her son's home. Donations in Bertha's memory may be made to the Emunah Women of Canada, (514) 485-2397.
