David SEGAL Obituary
Surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, February 26, 2017, in his one hundredth year. Beloved husband of the late Miriam Sokoloff. Cherished father and father-in-law of Jason Segal, Helena and Marvin Minkoff. Adored grandpa of Ian and Andy, Bryan and Serena; Heidi and Adam, Lawrence and Alana, and Shanna. Proud great-grandfather of Matthew, Jordan, Miley, Dylan, Isla, Isaac and Wesley. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Sarah and the late Ben Marcus, the late Jack and the late Naomi Segal, the late Irving and the late Bryna Segal; and brother-in-law of Sonia (Sunny) and the late Jerry Rubin, the late Sam and the late Sarah Sokoloff. David will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and by all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his daughter's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily through Sunday evening. Contributions in David's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal, (514) 369-0800.
