It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Harriet Wenger on Thursday, March 9, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of Jackie, adored and cherished mother of Jarred, and Lindsay (Lucy), beloved daughter of the late Jean and Julius Luxenburg, sister of the late Stephen Luxenburg, daughter-in-law to Ruthy and Solly Wenger, special sister-in-law to Gloria Lifschutz, dearest aunt to her favorite nephews Morris, Joseph and Max Lifschutz, and great-aunt to Noah and Elliot Lifschutz. Special thanks to Dr. Golda and the wonderful staff at Mt. Sinai for their continuous compassion and support. Harriet possessed a spirit and inner strength that touched the lives of all those who knew her. She will remain in our hearts forever as our warrior. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane.
