David POVITZ Obituary
Peacefully in his ninety-seventh year, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, with his much- treasured family by his side. Most beloved husband of the late Dorothy Bloom for sixty- three years. Loving father and father-in-law of Billy and Marilyn, Rhea and Richard Tock, Tina and the late Avrum. Cherished Zadie Dave of Stephanie and Patrick; Matthew and April; Ira, Marcus and Brandi, and Raffi. Proud great-grandfather of Shayne and Fayth; Ethan and Owen; Ephraim and Lillian. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Fred and the late Shirley. Predeceased by his brothers-in- law and sisters-in-law, Edie and Max Bloom, Helen and Sam Liebersohn, Larry and Shura Bloom, Sadie and Ralph Zwibel, Issie Bloom, Yettie and Clarence Kisber. Respected Uncle Dave to his many nephews and nieces. Funeral service took place from Paperman & Sons, on Thursday, May 4. Shiva at his daughter Rhea's home. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Dorothy and David Povitz Memorial Fund" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
