Suddenly, at home, on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Loving Beshert of Linda Levitt. Cherished father and father-in-law of Jason and Miri Bowen, Dvorah and David Miller, Joshua and Alana Saks. Beloved son of Lorna and the late Bill Saks and son-in-law of Sylvia and Ben Levitt. Adored Zaida of Audra and Micah Bowen; Aaron and Maya Miller; Jackson and Sonny Saks. Treasured brother and brother-in-law of Rob and Arlyne Saks, Warren and Mia Saks and brother-in-law of Iris Levitt and Robert Eidinger, Mark and the late Beverly Levitt. Exceptional uncle of Adam and Heather Saks, Jaclyn and Warren Kleiner, Samantha Saks and fiancé Thierry Pinto; Michael and Jonah Saks; Marissa and Josh Pepin, Jordana Delnick; Chad Levitt and fiancée Candice Sheeri, Shira Levitt and Eric Schwam. Great uncle of Emma Saks; Miles and Koby Pepin. Jay will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives he touched. Funeral service took place from Paperman & Sons, on Wednesday, May 24. Shiva at 5840 Marc-Chagall Ave., Côte Saint- Luc. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Jay Saks Memorial Fund", c/o the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation, (514) 489-3841, or to the "Jay Saks Memorial Fund for the Birthing Centre", c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
