Dear Cheryl and Kayla,
I would like to share a memory with you. I don't think I was more than nine years old. I was sitting in your living room with both of you and your mother. It must have been close to supper time and your father would be arriving home from work soon. Your mother was looking out the window and the minute your father's car turned into the driveway I just saw this radiance on your mother's face. It made such an impression on me. I ran across the street to tell my mother. Sure enough, my mother said that she had noticed on many occasions the love and respect your parents had for each other.
May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim.

Dear Cheryl, Kaila and families:
I can only reiterate what has already been said by the neighbors on Alpine Avenue. We all have wonderful memories growing up on our block, and at this time of sorrow, are sharing them in hopes of giving you comfort. When your mother decided to return to school when all the other parents were just simply "parents", she was the envy of the street. A mother so beautiful, young and intelligent too.
My deepest sympathy.

Dear Cheryl and family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. How difficult to lose a mother, mother-in-law and grandmother at such a young age. Most sincerely, Dale

On behalf of the Kern families, (Montreal and Toronto), I extend our deepest, heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your beloved Mom. As a childhood neighbor, I remember a very lovely woman totally and lovingly devoted to her family, while still achieving her personal goals. May her memory serve as a source of inspiration and comfort to you all.

Dear Cheryl, Kaila and families,
I was saddened to read of your Mom's passing this morning in the Gazette. My deepest condolences to you.
Living next door on Alpine, for so many years, the first image of your Mother that came to my mind was of "a young beautiful woman" which she was.
May you be comforted by the memories you will now have.
