LEBNER, Louis. Suddenly, on Tuesday, November 23, 2004. Beloved husband and best friend of Sylvia Rothstein for sixty-one years. Loving father and father-in-law of Michael and Pattee of Boston, Stephen of Toronto, Gilbert and Olga of Las Vegas, the late Eric and the late Flavia. Loving grandfather of Alyssa, Jeffrey, Samantha and Tyler; Adrianne and Blaire, and Ashley. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ann and the late Willie Bercovitch, the late Ida and the late Samuel Margolis, and brother-in-law of Hyman Rothstein, Myra and Ray Sadowski of Toronto, Ralph and Jane Rothstein. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a decorated member of the Canadian Forces in World War II. His kind nature and warm regards for all will be sorely missed. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday, November 26 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva at his residence through Sunday evening. If desired donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

PLease accept my most sincere sympathies. Not having seen Mr.L for a long time did not diminish the great esteem, and love I had for him. I will continue to think fondly of him, always.....

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Lebner and the whole Lebner family. After my father died Mr. L. as I used to call him treated me like a fifth son. He always provided kind words, great advice and encouagement and even admonishment when I got out of line. I was always welcome in the Lebner home at anytime of the day or night to eat, sleep, or just hang out. Mr. L was always a true gentleman, kind and loving man and his legacy are the four wonderful sons he and Mrs. L raised. The world is a less gentle place today not that you're gone Mr. L but heaven has gained one classy gentleman. You will be missed by all of us who were touched by your gentle hand.
