POVITZ, Dorothy (nee Bloom). Peacefully, with her treasured family by her side on Saturday, January 1, 2005. Most beloved wife of David for sixty-three years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bill and Marilyn, Rhea and Ricky Tock, and Avrum and Tina. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie and Brett; Matthew and April; Ira, Marcus, and Raffi. Great-grandmother of Shayne and Fayth. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Edie and the late Max Bloom, the late Helen and the late Sam Liebersohn, the late Larry and the late Shura Bloom, the late Sadie and the late Ralph Zwibel, the late Issie Bloom, the late Yettie and the late Clarence Kisber. Sister-in-law of Fred and Shirley Povitz. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, and friend to all. Funeral service took place from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva to be announced. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251. She was "The Best Of The Best." She will be greatly missed.
