RABINOVITCH, Hyman Walter (Hy). At the Mount Sinai Hospital, on Friday, February 4, 2005 in his seventy-seventh year. Beloved husband of Fran Prud'homme. Devoted and loving father of Phil Prud'homme (Anna Wickberg), Lyne Prud'homme (Marc Gagnon), Danielle and Nathalie Prud'homme. Cherished grandfather of Nick, Rachel, Maggie, and Adam. Dearest brother of Esther (Kalisky-Ostroff), Sydney, and Gerry (Phyllis Weinstein). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and many dear friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, February 6 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at The Memorial Park Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva at 3005 Cedar Ave., Montreal. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Palliative Care c/o Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, (514) 369-2222 Ext: 1334.

Danielle and Family,

Andrew and I are very sorry to learn of your father passing away. We know how much you loved him and how much he loved you. Danielle, Hy absolutely adored you and I know how much you will miss him. We will remember Hy as a man that had great respect for everybody, no matter where they came from or what the background was. Yours was the lucky family that he became a part of.

Dan, I know that this is going to be a very rough time for you but when you are feeling this sad, remember how much he loved and respected you. He will always be with you in some way.
