LEVINE, Sydney Allan. In his eighty-second year surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 19, 2005. Beloved husband for fifty-five years of Beatrice Rabinovitch. Devoted father and father-in-law of Roslyn and Brian Segal, Mitchell and Ginny, and Mark. Cherished grandfather of Andrew and Matthew Segal, Spencer, Carson and Hayley Levine, Shayne and Emily Levine. Son of the late Ellen and Sam Levine. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lillian and the late Hyman Yanow, Herb and Mary Levine, the late Michael and the late Vera Levine. Brother-in-law of Maurice and the late Miriam Rabinovitch, Jerry and Ruth Rabinovitch. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Walter Gregory for his care and dedication over the years. Funeral service took place from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday, May 22 at 3:30 p.m. Shiva at his residence. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Sydney Levine Memorial Fund" c/o Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation, (514) 843-1543.

Dear Auntie Beatrice, Roz, Brian, Mitchell, Ginny, Mark and family,

I'm so sorry that I can't be with you on this sad day. Although I write these words as I am sure many others are standing with you and helping you through these difficult moments. I will always have fond memories of Uncle Sidney and will miss him very much. May you be spared further sorrow.
