NISKER, David. Holocaust Survivor. Peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 3, 2007. Beloved husband and best friend of Lucy Zilbert for fifty-five years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Joyce and the late Steven Takefman, Bill Nisker and Diane Sandler. Proud Saba of Melanie and Aharon, Jason, Teddy, Ari, and Daniel. Son of the late Laya and the late Mayer. Dearest brother of the late Rywka who perished in the Holocaust. The family would like to thank David's caregivers, the CLSC Rene Cassin, Dr. Serge Gauthier and the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday, January 5 at 1:30 p.m. Burial at the Czenstechover Society, Memorial Park Cemetery, De La Savane.
