GRUMAN, May (nee Weigensberg). Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Sunday, February 18, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Gruman. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Shari, Marian, Sandra and Morris Macklin, Patti and Simon Elster, and the late Edward. Cherished and very special Grandma of Samara and Brahm Elster. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alice and the late Maurice Cheifetz. She will be sadly missed by her family and all her friends at the McGill Institute for Learning After Retirement, The Trefoil Guild, and Ami Quebec, of which she was a founding member. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 21 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha B'Nai Jacob Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lajeunesse.
