Sybil Zanger

ZANGER, Sybil (nee Levinson). On Monday, November 5, 2007, in her ninety-fifth year. Wife of the late Maurice. Predeceased by her siblings Joe, Etta and Irwin. Dear sister-in-law of Lil Levinson Garmaise. Very dearly beloved aunt of Judy and Morty Beutel, Zav and Wendy Levinson, Dr. Peter and Dr. Vicki Levinson, Marcia and John Loewenstein, Butsie Greenberg and Charles Brin, Haskell and Mara Greenberg, Ralph and Sharon Levinson, Ben and Carla Levinson, Marion and Henry Summerfield, Sylvia and Leroy Petersen. Much admired great-aunt of Lisa and Asher Cohen, Sarah and Steven Morgan, Karen and Jeffrey Measures, Eli, Jake, Erica and Michael Levinson, and many other great-nieces and great-nephews. Special thanks to her caregiver Arlene and to Dr. Dagher and the compassionate staff at 5 South of St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Wednesday, November 7 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. A retired nurse and social worker, she lived her life with dignity and grace and was deeply committed to the life of her community.
