Harriet Gesburg Obituary

Harriet Moaratty Woods Gesburg July 30, 1922 - September 10, 2008 Harriet Gesburg, passed away at her home after a two month illness, she was 86. She was born in Seabrook, N.H. on July 30, 1922 to Harold O. and Ida Belle Knowles Moaratty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Woods and on July 15, 2006 by her husband, Wallace Gesburg; her son, Rodney A. Moaratty, and a brother, Harold O. Moaratty. Harriet leaves behind a daughter, Marsha Pritchard and husband of Summerfield, FL; two sisters, Irma Gerrish and Myrna Owen of Grand Junction and a dear niece, Pamela I. Owen, who was her right hand and care giver. Other survivors include her special cat, Sheila Marie; grandsons, Charles Eaton and his wife of Grand Junction; Kenneth and Todd Pritchard from the state of FL and Mark Pritchard from the state of OH; Edward Moaratty and Dan Ruplex both from the state of CA; two granddaughters, Tina and her husband from the state of FL and Yvonne Lewis and her husband from the state of CA; five great granddaughters, six great grandsons, two great great grandsons, two great great granddaughters, four nieces, three nephews and three stepsons. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Harriet at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 507 Bookcliff Drive, Grand Junction, CO 81501. Special written and spoken guest book messages may be left at www.mem.com . Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Martin Mortuary.
