Diana Lynn Jeffery
May 8, 1961 - July 9, 2015
We lost a wonderful mother and friend this past Thursday, July 9th. Diana Lynn Jeffery was fatally injured in a back country vehicle accident in the beautiful mining area north of Silverton, Colorado. The valiant efforts of those closest to her to offer immediate care and the stalwart actions of the Silverton Volunteer Fire Department's Emergency Response Team were not able to keep Diana with us. She passed away during an activity she loved to do with her family and friends.
Diane loved to share her interests of the Colorado outdoors and her service through the nurturing and caring for others. She dedicated her life to helping others to make positive impact in their daily lives through education and good decision making. Her dedication to others through her service, participation and leadership showed outwardly through her involvement with the Los Angeles Police Department, La Leche League, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, Montessori teachings, MCDHS Adult Protection, West Springs Hospital and Guardianship Services of Western Colorado.
Diana was a loving mother and companion. She nurtured us all through her actions and touched many of our hearts with kindness and support.
Please come share with her family and family-of-friends in a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Thursday July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 522 White Ave., Grand Junction, CO 81505. We would like all to know the many wonderful parts of Diana's wonderful life.

Give others a chance to express condolences. Not right now.
