Terry Darold Fick
June 12, 1993 - August 17, 2015
Terry "Terr-Bear, Terry Terr-ific" Fick passed away on August 17, 2015. He was 22 years old.
Terry was born on June 12, 1993 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Gerald and Debra Fick. He attended Central High School and was a proud "Warrior Wrestler". He graduated in 2011 and entered the Army that summer.
Terry was stationed at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina. He deployed to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2012 and then again to Africa in 2015. During his dedication to his country he was honored with two Army Commendations Medals, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon and his NATO medal. During his final days was promoted to Sergeant.
Terry is survived by his wife, Kelsey of Thorton; his parents, Gerald and Debra Fick; his grandparents, Con and Lorraine Hetchler of Berlin, Wisconsin; his siblings, April (Joel) Arnhold; Christopher (Ovella) Fick, Candice (Andy) Reffitt, and Eric (Deborah) Fick. He is also survived by his nieces, Chandra, Haylee and Corrine; his nephews, Camden, Christian and AJ. He is also survived by many other family members and close friends. Terry will be missed by all whose life he touched.
A celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, August 26th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. for viewing with service at 11:00 a.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction. Military funeral and procession will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction, Colorado.
