jimmy, stuart and john scott, I enjoyed your father telling stories of how he met and married your mother. Remember the good days!

Virginia (Ginger) Hawker (Ben's oldest child)

Uncle Junior, as we all knew him, was the last of the original Hawker children of Jimmy and Mattie Hawker. We are glad that we took time to visit him in 2010 in his home. My husband, Tracy, and cousin Hazel Moyer and I sang the old Primitive Baptist hymns with him. A precious memory.
My oldest son, Kurt, asked to meet him in May, 2012, so we visited him in the nursing home. It was a good thing for all of us. He will be remembered fondly.
