Lorene married Herman F. Neubauer in 1945 and he pre-deceased her in 1968. Lorene remarried to Harold Tenting in 1970 and was again widowed in 1977. Lorene then remarried Clayton Johnson in 1979 and they enjoyed 39 years of marriage until Clayton's death on Nov. 4, 2018. Lorene and Clayton resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida for 20 years before returning home to Illinois 10 years ago.

A special mention and heartfelt thank you to Clayton's children Kayla Koerber (nee Johnson) for her steadfast assistance, and to Kevin Johnson for his priceless, loving care given to our mother, Lorene, and to his father, Clayton; the Collanades in O'Fallon, Illinois and the Hospice caregivers.
