I remember Bernie, (and always will) first, as a true Christian man. Always smiling, who offered the sweetest prayers I'v ever heard. We had many good days at the golf course, knocking a little ball around. He is the only man I know who could still laugh after boging five consecutive holes. Tnat was the Bernie that I will always remember.

Bernie was one of those people who always had a smile. He made you feel welcome. When he spoke, you knew he was speaking truth. His love for God radiated. I loved to hear him pray. Bernie is healthy and whole again. May God bless his family as they heal. I know there is a big hole to fill.

Bernie was one of those rare breeds who made life look EASY! I loved his sense of humor and his easy way with people. I respected his views. I knew if he spoke, it came from the heart. And I know he loved Jesus--that was always plain. I loved to hear him pray. And once again, he is whole and healthy, face to face with Jesus. May God bless you and your family as you heal.

I never saw Bernie without a smile. He was loving and kind and a pleasure to know. He will be truly missed, for a time, but we can look forward to a reunion when we join him someday in the kingdom of heaven, where they'll be no sorrow. Rest in peace Bernie. Sympathy and prayers go out to the family in this time of loss.
