Lizbeth Ann Armour went home to The Lord September 11, 2018.

Born December 28, 1944 in Houston, Texas and adopted by Raymond and Louise Newton of Pecos, Texas. The family then moved to Fort Stockton, Texas where Ann grew up, enjoyed traveling with her parents to Big Bend, Mexico and Port Aransas and had many friends and memories there.

After graduating high school, Ann attended McMurry University and later San Angelo College where she met the love of her life, M.V. Armour. They married in 1967 and after a short time living in San Angelo, moved to Midland, Texas where they started their family soon after.

After her children started school, Ann began work as an aide in special education with Midland Independent School District at Bonham Elementary and later shared her love of reading with children as a Librarian Aide at Pease Elementary until her retirement.

Ann was a long-time member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) before later progressing to KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly). She made many friends there and looked forward to their weekly meetings and yearly conventions.

In retirement Ann enjoyed reading, cuddling with her dogs and cats, crocheting, going to the movies with her friend Wilma and attending water color and ceramic classes at Midland College. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren whenever the opportunity was available.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Louise Newton of Fort Stockton, Texas. Her parent's in-law Millard T. and Vada Armour of San Angelo, Texas. Aunt in-law, Ruby Hulsey of San Angelo, Texas.
