Sharon Yvonne Welsh Obituary
Sharon Yvonne Welsh

Christoval, TX

On September 13, 2018 our loving mother Sharon Welsh passed away in her home with her family after a short battle with cancer. Sharon was born on June 26, 1955 in Fort Campbell, KY to Jeral Welsh and Betty Young. Sharon, known as Honey to all, was very gifted at crafting and her talent can be seen in the homes of all who she loved. She had an enormous sense of humor and a unique ability to make the simplest stories (full of life). She walked through this life with a unimaginable strength. She used that strength in countless hours spent on the phone helping those she loved. She is survived by her brothers; William Welsh, Jerry (Aurora) Welsh and Wendell (Michelle) Welsh and sisters; Sue Welsh Ayscue, Janice (Darrell) Storts and Wanda (Steve) Flora. Also survived by her children; Bridgette Wallace Trammell, Rhonda (Johnny) Wallace-Johnson, Natalie (Allen) Adamson, Winston Cave and Deric VanZant, 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In honor of our Mother, Sister, Friend and Grandmother visitation will be on Sunday September 16, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Johnson's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday September 17, 2018 in Grape Creek Cemetery. A tribute reception will be held at Carlsbad Community Center following the Services. Our Family would like to express our thanks for all of the wonderful support and care given by family and friends. "Honey" will be very missed by us all. Family and friends are invited to sign the online registry at
