William Roy "Billy" Epp Obituary
William Roy "Billy" Epp

San Angelo, TX

William Roy Epp (Billy) 78 of San Angelo, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 11, 2018.

Billy was born in Bexar County on February 26, 1940. After graduating from Sam Houston High School, San Antonio, Texas, he went to work for Holt Machinery. He enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1963 and served 32 years in the military. He retired at 55 as Master Sergeant. Billy met Joyce Ann Tuma (Epp) at a dance hall, and 6 months later, they married. Billy and Joyce had two beautiful daughters after being married for 7 and 1/2 years. As a family, they went on fishing and hunting trips, vacations and family gatherings. After retiring, both were involved in bowling together in state and national tournaments.

Billy's favorite job titles were that of husband, father and "Pop". He was a fun loving and involved dad who taught his daughters to be the strong and independent women they have become. He left wonderful family memories with them.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Ann Epp, his two daughters, Kristi (Shelton) Foerster and Jennifer (James) Baker, and their 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. His siblings, Mack, Charlotte, Wesley, and Sandy, also survive him.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Wilhelmina Epp and half brother Charlie Epp.

The Memorial Service will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Harper Funeral Home Chapel with Shelton Foerster officiating.

The family of Billy wishes to thank Interim Hospice of San Angelo, Harper Funeral Home of San Angelo and numerous family and friends for their prayers, support and love.
