McMahon Jr., F. Byrne "Buzz" 9/29/1946 - 9/21/2020 Grand Rapids age 73 of Grand Rapids, formally of Lowell, passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, September 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Byrne and Helen McMahon. Buzz is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary McMahon; children, Stephen (Jennifer) McMahon, Christopher (Andrea) McMahon; grandchildren, Mitchell, Matthew, Collin, Ryan, Madelyn, Mary Clare; brother, Patrick (Debra) McMahon; sisters, Judy (Miles) Murphy, and Jill (Bob) Faber. He grew up in Lowell and worked in car sales for 20 years there. Buzz loved spending time with his grandkids, attended their sporting events and just being a part of their lives. He was a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels for many years. Buzz will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM September 25, 2020, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 2750 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Fr. Peter Damian presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, 2900 Wilson Ave SW # 500, Grandville, MI 49418.
