Eric was a true friend to everyone he knew. He always had a pleasant smile on his face whenever you'd see him. He was that jolly good friend which nobody could deny. We shall meet again in the Kingdom of Heaven my friend.

Thoughts and prayers to all of Eric's family and friends. I had the joy of meeting Eric at West Catholic as we both played the saxophone in the various high school bands. His talent on the sax was amazing and he was always a friend, even though I was an underclassmen. He will be missed.

I send my deepest condolences to Eric's Friends and family. Growing up in Grand Rapids wouldn't have been the same without Eric's always reliable free-spirited attitude to count on. Thanks for the fond memories, old buddy.

I had a lot of fun times hanging out with you at parties in my 20s and it was great to see you throughout the years at River City Saloon or just bumping into you once in a while. You were always one of the most laid back cool guys I knew. May you rest in heaven our West side brother. You'll be greatly missed.
