Alta Bernice Hatter Ford, 80, of Dry Ridge, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 in Edgewood.
She was a retired customer service representative for Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals and a former member/president of Grant County Homemakers and Grant County Garden Club.
Survivors include her sons, Curt Foley of Cincinnati, Ohio and John Foley of Newport; a brother, Paul Hatter of Shelbyville; stepsons, Jack Ford, Tom Ford and Jim Ford, all of Northern Kentucky;  stepdaughters, Sheila, Sherry and Linda, all of Northern Kentucky; sisters, Martha Clark of Liberty and Becky Miller of Bradenton, Florida; two grandchildren, Vince Mitchell and Joshua Schehr, both of Dry Ridge; multiple step grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ford; a daughter, Susan Schehr; brothers, J.L. Hatter, Jake Hatter and Buck Hatter and two sisters, Lula Campbell and Ruth Bates.
Funeral services were held Dec. 23 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden. 
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
