Betty continued her residency in Great Falls until six months prior to her death. She enjoyed her many friends and her two cocker spaniels who made each day worthwhile until her recent hospitalizations. After leaving Great Falls, she resided with her niece, Tami Williams in Missoula and her son and daugher-in-law, Bradley and Nancy Lane in Glendive.

She is survived by her four children; and sister, Colleen Mitchell of Great Falls.
