Charles Kenneth Ramsey

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS Charles "Chuck" Kenneth Ramsey, 82, a U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran and 34-year highway maintenance man who loved the outdoors, died of pancreatic cancer Tuesday, March 5, at Mountainview Medical Center.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Stevenson-Wilke Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, with a graveside service to follow at Mayn Cemetery, south of White Sulphur Springs. A reception will follow at Meagher County Community Center.

Survivors (all of White Sulphur Springs unless noted) include his wife of 55 years, Lydamae (Anthony) Ramsey; children Ronda Shinabarger, Charles "Brent" Ramsey, Debbie Welch of Shepherd, Cindy Tarazon of Nuevo, Calif., and Timothy Ramsey of Neihart; sisters Marie Adams of Dixon, Calif., and June Bernhardt; brothers Walter "Leo" Ramsey and James Ramsey; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
