My condolences to the entire Reed family. Kathy, Dexter, Mary Beth and Mark were my neighbors.in the late 60s early 70s there on 8th Ave South in Great Falls. I've thought of you all over the years and looking back I can see what a great job your dad did as a father. Some people you never forget. For me, the Reed family are definitely some of them.

Your Dad was my hero. My twin and I were bat boys in 1958. Oh! the memories of your Mother and Dad. I often would stop to visit when I returned to GF. He was a class act! He will be missed.

Dex and Reed Family:

My deepest sympathies to your family. I am very glad to have met your father. He was a fine gentleman. I just wish I could have seen him play ball! The measure of a man is the family that he raised and he did one heck of a job! I have no doubt that he took pleasure in how you have all succeeded in life. He has joined your mother in a better place. I just wonder if they have a ball yard in Heaven that he can't hit it out of ?

We were deeply saddened to hear of your father's passing. He was loved so by our son Jesse Benjamin Romain, who passed away @ 24 on 9-11-04. They enjoyed many times fishing at our ranch and were the best of buddies. Your dad was a great man who showed our family so much kindness his wonderful hearty laugh will always be remembered & missed. Praying for your peace. With our love, Kenny & Greta Romain

Sorry to read of your father's passing-over the years he delivered furniture to our home-usually bringing it in by himself-they must have have known that they only needed one person to get the job done right. He will be missed by several-in my books he was a fine man-a true gentle giant. Our prayers are with your family.

I have some wonderful memories of your dad. I will never forget our first day at Union Bethel, he welcomed us with open arms and then ran home to get some baseball pictures for us. He was a very proud man, proud of his ball playing, furniture job, and more, but I never seen him light up the way he did when he talked about his children. Trust me when I say he thought you guys were his greatest accomplishment in life. May the Lord comfort you during this time and may you find much peace and joy in knowing your dad is dancing around in Heaven. We love and miss you.

To the Reed family
Your father was a great man in many different ways. First a great family man and second a friend to many.
I grew up at legion ball park when Eddie played. I was the ball boy for 3 years and became friends with Eddie. He would always give me a ride home from the ball park after the late games. Eddie hit the
longest home run i have ever seen to this day, over 580 feet...they taped it. I still have the baseball Eddie signed. Eddie was one of the best people i have ever know. i known God will take good care of Eddie.

My thoughts are with you all in this time. Your family was there for me when I lost my father in my pre teen years and I have always cherished my time spent in your home. The memory of your Dad lives on in the great family he created. Dexter remembers my "greatest sport moment" when I actually hit a pitch of your Dad's in your back yard. Your Dad's laugh would light up a room. I can still hear it. I love you all and let me know if there is anything you need.

To Mark and his family. My husband, Jack, daughter,Laura, son, Craig and myself, Valerie, consider ourselves an extension of the Reed family in Houston. Mark is an intrical part of our daily life and an important part of our family. We know all of you and have shared many family stories with Mark about his mother and father. The love your family has for one another has always been so evident and an inspiration for anyone trying to bring up children in todays world. If everyone could be blessed with the care and love you have given they could truly say they have had a good life. We love all of you.
