Jack Keith Obituary
Jack Keith

Great Falls - Jack Keith, 73, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from complications of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday May 19, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Scott Hedegaard officiating. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O'Connor Funeral Home.

Jack was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. From an early age, he has been an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved the outdoors. The Sangre de Cristo Mountains held a special place in Jack's heart and he loved hiking there. However, after motorcycling through Montana he decided to make it his home. He was active in state and local target shooting clubs throughout his life and enjoyed the interactions with his fellow shooters immensely. With the help of a neighbor, he developed his carpentry skills completing many projects in the family home.

Following his formal education, he was employed as a laboratory manager for Parkview Episcopal Hospital in Colorado until 1976. In Montana, he took a management position with Deaconess Medical Center and in 2007 retired from Great Falls Clinic.

He leaves behind his wife Janet of 50 years. From their marriage they have a daughter Kristin Leonard (Damien) and two children, Michael and Lily, and a son Jesse Keith (Erin) and their two children, Harper and Keegan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Peace Hospice of Montana, the ALS Association - Arizona chapter, E. Coronado Rd., Suite 140, Phoenix, AZ, or a charity of your choosing.
