Mary Biscup Obituary
Visitation is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Schnider Funeral Home and 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Holy Fam-ily Catholic Church, followed by a vigil service at 5:30 p.m. at the church. Funeral Liturgy is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Crema-tion will take place following the service. Private family burial of ashes will be held in Hillcrest Mausoleum.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Biscup of Great Falls; a daugh-ter, Kathleen Biscup of Great Falls; a son, Michael (Melissa) Biscup of Duvall, Wash.; and four grandchil-dren, Tess and Chloe Biscup and Marissa and Zachary Paris.
Kay was born March 28, 1933, in Erie, Pa., and raised primarily in Meadville, Pa. She graduated from Randolf High School in Guys Mills, Pa., and received a full scholarship to the University of Denver for writing an essay on what democ-racy means to the youth of Amer-ica. Her studies in Denver were interrupted by her marriage to Jim Biscup in 1952 in Denver. After spending 26½ years as a dedicated wife, she completed her education at the College of Great Falls and went on to a career in teaching at C. M. Russell High School, Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School and Blessed Trinity Catholic School, where she was affectionately known as "Mrs. Bee" to her stu-dents. She also taught at H.H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany, while Jim was stationed there.
She was a volunteer at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and a volunteer in Youth Services while Jim was in the Air Force. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and a past member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.
Kay enjoyed traveling and she was an avid reader. She loved camping and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Boyles, and her mother and father.

Dear Jim and Kathy,
I am Alice Schumacher's daughter, Susie. Currently, I am living near Nashville, TN, where my son, Greg Sterling is attempting to make a career as a country singer and performer. I say this so that you might remember me, but I remember you and your wife and mother, Kay. My mother, Alice, thought very highly of you and yours, and I know she must have rushed to greet her fellow faculty member at the Pearly Gates. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and that we remember all of your kindnesses to my mother. May God be with you at this difficult time and bless you with His peace.

Dear Mr. B and Family,
I was so surprised to hear about Mrs. Bee. My prayers are with you and your family. My children had Mrs. Bee at Blessed Trinity and they lover her as a teacher. She did more than just teach English, she taught good values, morals, & beliefs. She demonstrated strong virtues with kindness, understanding and most of all love. My words can not express how much she influenced all of my children. I truly feel blest to have had her as one of my best teachers my children had at Blessed Trinity. You all are in my prayers. Dear Biscup family,
I was so saddened to read of Kays passing. You see we had so much fun traveling togather on a trip to China where I got to know her. She was a fellow faculty member with my husband Kent Smith and he regarded her highly. Kent succumed to cancer too so I do share your sorrow.

Jim and family,
Although we were only with Blessed Trinity for a short time, Jim and Kay have always been a part of our hearts. You can't think of this school without thinking of all the love and devotion the Biscup's have given to everyone that passed though the doors. Our prayers are with you. As much as I hated diagramming sentences, I owe a great deal to Mrs. Bee. My favorite memory will be watching her interact with the twin grandbabies. It was great to see my stern grammar teacher changing diapers and using ‘baby talk’! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mr. and Mrs. B were and still are the teachers who have had such an impact upon so many of their students--and so many people out there.

Mr. "B" and family,
